Update! RESCINDED-- International Students and ICE SEVS Directive

On July 14 the Department of Homeland Security rescinded its July 6 directive and July 7 FAQs, returning to the status quo in the March 9 SEVP guidance and March 13 addendum. "Rescission of this horrendous rule just in the nick of time is a victory for students, and for institutions that can now work on managing their programs to protect health and education. It is also a victory for national concerted action and for the rule of law. Institutions spent untold hours of worry and effort that could better have been spent on plans to support students and learning, but at least now they can go forward with plans that include their international students."
