• Temporary Authorization of Distance Education for Spring and Summer 2021 Terms

    February 2, 2021 - WSCUC

Updated February 2, 2021

WSCUC institutions may seek authorization for their programs currently approved only for on-site instruction to be delivered in the distance education modality due to disruptions from Covid-19 for spring and summer terms beginning January 1, 2021. This temporary distance authorization is valid for any term that occurs prior to the fall 2021 term. An institution is not obligated to deliver instruction in the distance education modality with this authorization and may revert to on-site instruction if it chooses to do so without prior notification to WSCUC. This authorization is not permanent. Institutions seeking to permanently add programs to be delivered through the distance education modality to their established offerings must do so through the Substantive Change process.
