WSCUC congratulates Pres. Joseph Castro on his appointment as CSU Chancellor, and thanks Chancellor White for his leadership.

President Castro has served as a WSCUC Commissioner since 2017. We value his insights, collegiality, and many contributions to WSCUC, CSU Fresno, and earlier to the UC System, and wish him the very best as CSU Chancellor.

Chancellor Tim White, himself a former WSCUC commissioner, has served the students, CSU system, and State of California superbly. His commitment to increased equity and extension of his term to guide the system through the pandemic stand out among his many accomplishments.
