Jeremy Houska

Dr. Jeremy Houska currently serves as Director of Educational Effectiveness at the University of La Verne. In this role, he supports the University’s efforts to enhance a culture of inquiry and evidence, and a spirit of continuous improvement for student success. Prior to returning to his undergraduate alma mater, he enjoyed serving in a variety of faculty and administrative roles including Vice President for Institutional Research, Effectiveness, and Design, Accreditation Liaison Officer, Director of Institutional Research and Assessment, as well as a tenured Associate Professor of Psychology. His experiences on the faculty at teaching-focused institutions and focus on student development motivated the textbook, Success as a Psychology Major (Sage). In addition to equity-informed educational effectiveness, his current work examines a JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion) approach to institutional effectiveness. Jeremy is a graduate of the WSCUC Assessment Leadership Academy (ALA) – Cohort XI.
