Meiling Tang leads the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and serves as the WSCUC Accreditation Liaison Officer at Touro University California, where Judaic values of social justice, intellectual pursuit, and service to humanity are committed. She oversees institutional efforts in institutional research, student learning outcomes assessment, program review, strategic planning and accreditation.
In her previous role at Ohio Wesleyan University, she served as senior assistant director of admissions and financial aid. Tang was responsible for building in-depth enrollment predictive models and served in the senior leadership team for the University Enrollment & Strategic Communication division.
Tang holds a PhD in Educational Policy & Leadership, a MA in Quantitative Research, Evaluation, and Measurement in Education both from the Ohio State University, and a BA from Hunan University of Science & Technology in China. She is a graduate of the Society for College and University Planning (SCUP) Institute and a graduate of the WSCUC Assessment Leadership Academy.
