Susan D. Phillips

Susan D. Phillips, Public Member, is a Professor of Educational Policy and Leadership at the University at Albany/SUNY, where she also served as Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs and Vice President for Strategic Partnerships.  She is also a Leadership Fellow at the SUNY SAIL Institute, and past chair of the National Advisory Committee on Institutional Quality and Integrity.  Holding degrees from Stanford University, Teachers College, and Columbia University, she has worked in accreditation and educational quality assurance for the Regents of the State of New York and for health service provider recognition in psychology, and led the American Psychological Association Committee on Accreditation, one of the largest professional accreditors in the country. In addition, she is a recognized scholar in career development and vocational behavior, a Fellow of the American Psychological Association and a licensed psychologist.
