Dr. Ariane Schauer holds a PhD in Economics from UCLA. She joined the Marymount California University faculty and has served as Department chair, Senate president and on several WSCUC review teams. She has served as Provost and ALO since 2009 and has led the academic transformation of a 2-year college to an institution with Bachelor’s degrees and an MBA. As such, she is no stranger to leading change and faculty development.
