The Process
WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC) members are selected through a multi-step process which is outlined in Article IV of the Commissions Bylaws.
Step 1
Nominations
Nominations to the Commission are sought from throughout the region. The nomination process occurs in autumn of each year, and is coordinated by the Nominating Committee.

Voting
After all nominees have been vetted by the Nominating Committee, a final slate of nominees is sent to the region for voting. As per the Bylaws, only CEOs of WSCUC-accredited institutions are eligible to vote in the Commission Election.
Step 3
Results
Election results are announced at the conclusion of the balloting period. New commissioners are formally introduced at the WSCUC Accreditation Resource Conference in April.
