The Institutions within Systems Governance Guide has been approved to accompany the Accreditation Reviews for Institutions within a System Policy, to provide assistance to institutions and reviewers of institutions within systems regarding interpretation of governance issues. With input from Commissioners and WSCUC staff, this guide was discussed at the November 2017 meeting and edited following comments from the region, including individuals representing public and private institutions within systems, boards, chancellors, faculty governing bodies, and system leaders. Comments were received from several system representatives and representatives from institutions within systems. Comments were considered and included in the approved version.
