Dr. Alison Kadlec is a co-founder of the mission-driven consultancy Sova. Animated by a core commitment to closing equity gaps and advancing genuine socioeconomic mobility for more, Sova pursues its mission through distinctive approaches to change leadership, program strategy, and process improvement. Sova is a core partner in the Tackling Transfer initiative, a multi-state effort focused on transfer student success. Before founding Sova, Alison led the higher education program at nonprofit Public Agenda for a decade. Alison began her career as a faculty member in political science. Alison and her team currently work with institution and system leaders in more than a dozen states to advance quality implementation of large-scale, evidence-based, student-focused change work.
