Justine Meyr
Director of Curriculum Development
Justine joined WSCUC in 2021 after serving as Director of Science and Letters at Make School, where she was responsible for designing the general education program for a Bachelor’s degree program dedicated to diversifying the Tech industry. Justine has held a variety of roles within education both in domestic and international contexts. She was a lecturer for the University of California, Santa Barbara; Visiting Scholar at Albert Ludwig University, Germany; Director of a nonprofit teenage exchange program; Financial Analyst at the University of California Education Abroad Program; and worked as an English language instructor and UNICEF intern in Santiago, Chile. She is a language and culture enthusiast, who is particularly interested in social impact and building global communities through educational technology. Justine received her BA in History from Brandeis University, a MA in Latin American Studies from UCSB and a PhD in Education from UCSB.
