Rebecca Hong
Rebecca C. Hong is the Senior Director of Educational Effectiveness and Assessment at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California, and leads assessment, accreditation, and change efforts focused on advancing equitable learning environments. Her work is centered around examining voice and power in spaces, and constructing new ways to partner with students around learning assessment and equity in higher education. Prior to joining LMU, Rebecca has served as Assistant Provost for Educational Effectiveness, Dean of Curriculum and Assessment, and Associate Professor of Education. She earned her Ed.D. in Educational Leadership, with a focus in Higher Education Administration, from the University of Southern California and a B.A. in Economics from UC San Diego. She is also a proud graduate of the WSCUC Assessment Leadership Academy (Cohort VI) and continues to serve the WSCUC region on accreditation teams and as an ALO.
