Thomas O Fleming, Jr., Special Financial Officer of Loyola Marymount University, retired. He was appointed to his current position in 2021. Previously he was the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (since 2003), Treasurer (since 2021), the acting Vice President for Business and Finance (since 2002) and prior to that as the University Controller (from 1996). Fleming obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in commerce from Washington and Lee University and is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) in California. He also has extensive experience in both public accounting and private industry. He has served on numerous WSCUC visiting teams.
