Linda Petersen

Vice President

Linda Petersen joined WSCUC in 2016. Previously she held several research, teaching, and administrative positions at the University of California, Berkeley, including Associate Director for Operations at the Berkeley Evaluation and Assessment Research (BEAR) Center and Associate Director for Research for Policy Analysis at California Education (PACE), a joint effort between the University of California, Berkeley and Stanford University. She also served as Program Manager at the University of California Office of the President for a system-wide project devoted to increasing STEM faculty diversity. Linda has experience in education law and worked for the California Department of Education’s legal office, as both a legal researcher and as a state Special Education Mediator. Her volunteer work has included serving as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for children in the foster care system. Linda earned her B.A. in Psychology and Social Work at Moravian College and her M.A. and Ph.D. in Education at the University of California, Berkeley.
