ARC2021: The Emerging Landscape of Learning for Equity

This session will explore what five years of nationwide data tell us about three essential learning outcomes – written communication, critical thinking and quantitative literacy – and the implications for our work moving forward through an in-depth look at the current landscape of learning, focusing upon the quality of learning within the undergraduate curriculum and the equity of learning outcomes across various student characteristics. The data reveal practical actions that faculty and institutions can take to address longstanding patterns of inequity across various characteristics of students and assignments. Featuring Kate McConnell, Vice President, Office of Quality, Curriculum and Assessment, Association of American Colleges and Universities, and Terrel L Rhodes, Distinguished Fellow, Association of American Colleges and Universities.
