On Tuesday, July 21, 2020 from 8:00 – 10:00 am PDT WSCUC will host a webinar to describe our process for considering international institutions for Eligibility and potential Initial Accreditation. The WSCUC Standards for accreditation are the same for all institutions, with one additional step for international institutions that we call an Expression of Interest (EOI) phase. This short process allows WSCUC to understand how the institution can bring value to the WSCUC mission and members, along with how the institution engages with issues of governance, transparency, and academic freedom.

WSCUC will review EOI submissions throughout the rest of 2020 to determine a small number of institutions to invite to move forward with scheduling an Eligibility workshop, a preliminary requirement for seeking Eligibility. The webinar will be an excellent time to ask questions and offer comments about the EOI proposal process.
