    September 22, 2016 - WSCUC

WSCUC has received a three-year grant from the Lumina Foundation to develop and facilitate a Community of Practice comprised of WSCUC institutions in order to increase leadership for and institutional capacity in learning outcomes assessment. Institutions, through their participation, will receive consulting and network support in the process of implementing organizational projects. Additionally, through the Community of Practice, a curated collection of learning assessment resources, tools, and exemplars will be developed and disseminated regionally and nationally.

The Initiative seeks to address three primary outcomes:

  1. Learning outcomes capacity building in the region
  2. Improved learning outcomes visibility; and
  3. Quality assurance / accreditation resource development.

Dr. Errin Heyman, the outgoing Dean of Educational Effectiveness at University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, has joined WSCUC as the Initiative’s program manager.
