In recognition of the uncertainty postsecondary institutions face in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Department of Education has extended the current guidance related to distance education review requirements through December 31, 2020. The Department of Education’s March 5, 2020 guidance and subsequent April 3, 2020 and now May 15, 2020 “UPDATED Guidance for Interruptions of study related to Coronavirus (COVID-19)” allows accreditors to waive their distance education review requirements for terms through December 31, 2020.
A letter was sent by President Studley to all WSCUC institution ALOs and CEOs on May 15, 2020.
