Following on the ideas, comments, and conversations from ARC2023 – The Challenge of Excellence: Realizing the New Standards, WSCUC is developing new workshops for the 2023-2024 academic year based on the 2023 Standards of Accreditation and the 2023 Accreditation Handbook. 2023-2024’s workshops will feature valuable explorations into student success, propelling evidence into action, and defining approaches to diversity and equity that align with the unique mission of each institution. Announcements about content, dates, and locations for these workshops will be made in August.

WSCUC’s respected Accreditation Leadership Academy (ALA) has enrolled a strong 2023-2024 cohort. ALA is a 10-month professional development program that develops WSCUC’s values of inquiry and innovation into practice by strengthening leadership skills and analytical ability. Together with guest faculty and mentors from throughout the higher education community, ALA participants confront and examine critical issues in higher education and orient responses to action. The Academy runs through April 2024 in four segments, each culminating in a 3 day, in-person meeting. More information can be found on the WSCUC website here.

Mark your calendar! The 2024 Accreditation Resource Conference (ARC) will be held April 18 – 20, 2024 at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego. NOTE: The 2024 ARC takes place on a Thursday through Saturday.
