Using a simple attestation process, WSCUC institutions may seek authorization for their programs currently approved only for on-site instruction to be delivered by remote delivery due to disruptions from Covid-19 for fall terms beginning by December 31, 2021. Further explanation and the form for seeking authorization are here. An institution is not obligated to deliver instruction remotely with this authorization and may revert to on-site instruction if it chooses to do so without any notification to WSCUC. This authorization applies only to the pandemic-affected period. Institutions seeking to permanently add programs to be delivered through the distance education modality to their established offerings must do so through the Substantive Change process.
