WSCUC will join the Council for Higher Education Accreditation’s (CHEA) new Accreditor Leadership Roundtable as a founding member. The Roundtable brings together a small group of accreditor leaders in an ongoing forum focused on advancing national dialogue on accreditation and supporting institutional quality and student success.

We are pleased to contribute to this initiative at a time of significant policy change and increased public attention to higher education. WSCUC helped shape the development of the Roundtable, and our participation ensures that the perspectives of our member institutions are represented in these discussions and in broader national conversations about accreditation.

In connection with its participation in the Roundtable, WSCUC has resumed recognition by CHEA. This does not affect WSCUC’s federal recognition status or the accreditation status of WSCUC member institutions.
