WSCUC submitted comments in response to the U.S. Department of Education’s Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) on accreditation issues. Click here to read WSCUC’s comment letter. Additionally, WSCUC also supported the comment letter submitted by the Council of Regional Accrediting Commissions (C-RAC), which can be viewed here.
Now that the comment period has closed, the Department will review the comment letters it received from various stakeholders and take the feedback into consideration as it crafts the final rules.
