WSCUC CEO & Trustee Forum – Equity & Metrics

WSCUC is pairing the dual imperatives of improving equity outcomes and using evidence effectively, guided by a strong pair, Board Chair Sam Glick and President G. Gabrielle Starr of Pomona College. Under the banner “Equity-minded Leaders Using Metrics Effectively: Better Conversations, Better Data,” they will model how they use evidence and data to go deep into student success and generate questions, new insights, and strategies to drive equitable change. With the help of CEOs and trustees, they’ll explore broad and practical issues: How do they engage their trustees and the senior staff? What fresh questions have worked for them? What changes have generated real improvements?

Our efficient 90 min Forum will also feature Phil Doolittle, the new WSCUC Commission Chair, on his priorities. WSCUC President Jamienne Studley will offer brief coming attractions from WSCUC and Washington, and we’ll invite your suggestions for what WSCUC ought to do, watch, explain or change. We want to share this opportunity, and this splendid pair of presenters and timely topic, widely, so the $125 fee for your institution includes as many trustees as you’d like.
