Bradley Kendrex
Bradley Kendrex serves as Vice President and Chief Financial and Operating Officer of the Arizona Board of Regents, the governing and coordinating body for Arizona’s public university system. In this role, he leads efforts to evaluate systemwide operations and finance, coordinate academic and policy initiatives across institutions, and support long-term planning to advance postsecondary attainment and research excellence in Arizona. He serves as the board’s primary liaison to university leadership and state agencies, translating institutional and policy issues for board consideration and guiding cross-institutional projects and analysis.
Kendrex has held senior leadership roles in both higher education and government administration, including service as Executive Vice President for the Maricopa Community Colleges. In that role, he oversaw finance, budget, human resources, information technology, research, and facilities operations at both the college and district levels, supporting effective campus administration and cross-college coordination.
He has held leadership and advisory roles with national organizations in higher education, health research, and amateur sport, and has served on nonprofit and community boards focused on education and public service.
Kendrex holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Public Administration from Arizona State University, and a doctorate in Adult and Higher Education from Oregon State University. He also completed the Institute for Educational Management at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
