Yolanda J. Gorman
Dr. Gorman serves as Interim Associate Vice Chancellor of Alumni Affairs and Advancement Services and Chief Financial Officer for the UCLA Foundation and Investment Company. From 2016 to 2025, she was Senior Advisor and Chief of Staff to the UCLA Chancellor, co-leading the university’s strategic planning process and advising across a $9 billion portfolio. She provided counsel to senior leadership, represented the Chancellor to key stakeholders, and led major institutional initiatives. She is also an adjunct faculty member in UCLA’s Educational Leadership doctoral program.
Previously, Dr. Gorman was President and CEO of Phillips Graduate University and is the founder of Gorman Partners, LLC, where she has led strategic planning, governance, and resource development efforts for nonprofits, universities, and government agencies—securing more than $300 million in funding to address critical human needs.
A dedicated civic leader, she serves as a Los Angeles County Commissioner for Women and holds multiple gubernatorial and nonprofit board appointments. A triple Bruin, she earned her B.A., M.B.A., and Ph.D. from UCLA.
